Multi-tasking mom

PRINT JOURNALIST

Dolores Tropiano writes a monthly arts feature for the PHOENIX magazine, honing in on some of the hottest artists in Arizona today. She shies away from the ordinary, giving readers ring-side seats into some rare and rich approaches to art. Dolores writes features for the magazine casting that same curious eye on the unusual and turning out spotlights on laid-back lion trainers and over-the-top fright-night displays along with more serious investigative stories.

Dolores also writes real estate related stories for the Arizona Republic and celebrates the lives and contributions of former Arizona residents with her Life Remembered profiles, which may sound morbid but are actually quite inspirational.

BROADCAST JOURNALIST

Dolores was the face of the Phoenix File for 15 years. She hosted and produced a show which appeared on Saturday morning on Channel 45.

Dolores gave Arizona residents the chance to sit on conversations with everyone from community leaders to controversial characters as well as some of her favorite stars.

WRITER

Dolores picked up a pencil at the age of five and has been writing daily ever since. Thankfully her skills have evolved since then.

In addition to writing for the Arizona Republic for more than 20 years, she has written everything from prose and poetry to publicity packages, website content, stewardship campaigns, and newsletters. Her writing helped raise money and garner media attention for clients in all walks of life.
